MAX SERPA

Biography

Born in Metro Vancouver, I’ve enjoyed living here most of my life. I’ve mostly tailored my life around my sense of purpose, which has centered around a desire to create a world that works for the life that’s here; I’ve done some great things towards this like working with non-profits to better identify and serve their clients’ needs, running various educational summits, and participating in professional post-secondary roles meant to streamline communication and student feedback. Recently though, some big upheavals in my life have turned my focus inwards. I’ve come to understand that creating positive change in the world necessitates creating paradigmatic shift in our personal/social consciousness, and that the mostly external focus which I have had is not enough. I’m excited to start living my life from a fuller sense of being, to be part of this community working towards environmental responsibility, and to share my gifts.
