We are thrilled to announce today the appointment of Rowan Gentleman-Sylvester as CityHive’s next Executive Director. This announcement comes after an extensive and rigorous external search and hiring process.
Rowan joined the CityHive team in February 2020 and has been a key contributor to the organisation’s growth and impact over the past 3+ years. Rowan’s most recent role as Programs Manager has distinguished her as a leader, with the knowledge, skills, and experience to successfully guide the organisation. As a proudly youth-led organisation we are excited for Rowan’s continued leadership, passion and vision.

I cannot wait to see how CityHive continues and evolves under her leadership.”

I can’t wait to continue doing good work with such an incredible team of young people.”
Rowan steps into her new role as Incoming Executive Director on May 1st. Veronika Bylicki, Co-founder and outgoing Executive Director will remain to support the transition until the early summer.
