Maria Montenegro
Maria is a Leader of Evaluation and Strategy at the Virtual Health Department in Fraser Health Authority and is an independent evaluation consultant. Through her evaluation practice and volunteer activities, Maria has been involved with several non-profits working in immigration and settlement, gender equity, youth engagement and others. Maria is also the Chair and co-founder of EvalYouth North America, a network that promotes engagement of youth in evaluation processes. She participated in CityHive’s City Shapers program shortly after moving to Vancouver from Alberta and this experience helped her navigate moving to a new city and engaging with her community. After contributing as a CHYA member and supporting CityHive’s events over the past few years, she is excited to become more involved as a Board Member.
