ClimateWorks Lab

This pilot program offers young individuals aged 18 to 30 the opportunity to develop their pathways to sustainable careers. It encourages young workers and volunteers from diverse sectors to collaborate with their employers and communities, contributing to climate sustainability initiatives within their areas of influence.

Overview

Building on more than six years of experience delivering youth climate innovation lab programming, the ClimateWorks Lab supports youth to take the next steps in their climate action journey — from idea to implementation.

Program participants are guided through four core program modules:

  • Explore climate action and justice, levers for change, and climate impacts on workplaces and communities.

  • Following a design-thinking process, develop climate action plans for work or community contexts.

  • Implement action plans with the support of program mentors and coaches.

  • Present challenges, wins, and learnings at a community event.

The pilot cohort of the ClimateWorks Lab launched in September 2024 and will run until May 2026.

Knowledge to Action

Our Knowledge to Action framework breaks down barriers by building skills from the ground up—no prior experience needed. Through hands-on learning and real-world experience, participants gain the confidence and tools they need to take meaningful action.
