Sayemin Azam Naheen

Sayemin (she/her) is an empathic young sustainability professional, striving towards a more equitable and inclusive future, one project at a time.

Born and raised in Bangladesh, Sayemin is an immigrant settler. As a Policy Analyst with BC Public Services, she channels her passion for sustainable development and social justice into impactful projects. Her commitment to learning and empowerment has led her to roles across non-profit, development, and education sectors in Canada, USA, Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan.

Outside of her professional commitments, Sayemin continues to engage with her passion for environmental action. She serves as a co-director of Mentorship with Connecting Environmental Professionals (CEP) Vancouver Chapter and is a proud new member of the Global Shapers Vancouver hub.
